This is more difficult than it sounds. Few people have succeeded in getting ham in recent years. Anyway the event organizers kept the game going for about an hour starting around 1am. At one o'clock in the morning the guns rang out and the trucks started coming. Super ripe tomatoes arriving by truck, of course. They rolled into the pueblo square in the center of town and dumped tomatoes. That's when the battle begins. It's free for anyone who can grab as many tomatoes as possible and then start throwing them at anyone and everyone. The truck then drove around the center of town to drop more munitions.
